Urgent: Vote No to AIP-134

Ape community! $APE holders! We need you to vote Against to AIP-134

What does AIP-134 say?

Maaria Bajwa, a board member from Apecoin DAO proposed running a bug hunting program to secure the delayed staking smart contract

Why is AIP-134 a bad idea?

**AIP-134 **can damage $APE price in the short term and the long term. This proposal is not transparent and contains a few red flags

  1. The project seems quite straight-forward from the description. It does not seem necessary to hire two extra companies(The proposal plans to pay both of them) to just run a bug bounty program. Do any Apecoin board members have conflicts of interest with these companies?

  2. Let’s inspect these 2 companies to hire: Llama is getting paid for executing the plan, whereas Immunefi is getting paid for the platform support. So Llama is the main drive to this project.

From the LinkedIn search result, Mr. Shreyas Hariharan seems to be the CEO/primary guy behind Llama. He also represented this company in various talks

Then why is Mr. Shreyas Hariharan eligible for driving this bug bounty effort? What effort is put in to ensure this AIP is recruiting the best candidates the money can get us?

From his LinkedIn profile, he did not launch/work on any noticeable projects in the crypto space, did he?

Did he have any achievements in web3?

What other track record did he have in this space?

Why should I have faith in his capability in finishing up the bug bounty problem on time with great quality without causing more delays?

  • He claimed Llama to have contributed to big names like Aave, Nouns, Uniswap, etc. So how did they exactly contribute to these successful projects? Writing proposals!

They are basically writing proposals everywhere, while I cannot see they actually executed anything

Uniswap (A proposal):

AAVE (A proposal):

Nouns (A proposal):

Conclusion:

The previous “sickness” delay has caused a price dump for $APE. If we want to run a new “bug hunting“ effort, we need to make sure we hire qualified candidates to drive this.

Either hire qualified candidates or do not even do it.

If we work with under-qualified candidates, they can cause even more delays and price dumps than we are already seeing.

How can I help:

  • Vote Against to AIP-134

  • If you previously voted In Favor, you can still change your vote!

  • Even you sold your $APE, you can still vote if you have $APE in early October snapshot. Give a try!

Thank you for your support!
