Not a dev, not an engineer, not an NFT genius, not an expert trader, not a “wen lambo” guy, and surely not a Youtube/Twitter influencer. But just an ordinary guy on a small Portuguese island — Madeira who got into crypto.

This is the island’s capital — Funchal. It’s where I live. Peaceful and calm city. Compared to the mess where the world lies now it’s almost a paradise. Good Market Cap. Devs push hard for marketing so we have a lot of investors (tourists) so not a pump & dump scenario.

Decided to make this Medium stuff. They say it helps. Helps to be noticed. I have several reasons to do this. But the main one is to give a different perspective on this fascinating world of crypto-web3-NFT stuff. I believe crypto will have a main adoption by the common people. The housewife, the mechanic, the janitor, the accountant and the sleazy teenager that passes all day tormenting the poor teachers at a public school.

Adoption is coming. Slowly but surely. One thing that I noticed is that this kind of investor when jumping into this world does that almost like a leap of faith.

Most of the influencers, communities, teams, and so on usually paint a simplified version of a complex new reality for retail investors. Most of the time leaving out — for many reasons — some key details and explanations that would avoid misconceptions, rekts, and some real life tragedies.

I’ll try to tell my story as a retail investor. Give feedback on this amazing new world through the lens of a regular dude. Not financial advice and please DYOR….. LOL had to say it. As a cliché but for real as well.

Maybe along the way, it can help the average investor to have a smoother ride. It will still be bumpy but maybe more enjoyable. Maybe just for a relaxing read. Could it help some influencers or teams? Who knows…. Some were just ordinary guys some years ago but maybe along the way, they forgot how it was for them.

Again I’m no crypto expert. English is not my native language. I have a full-time job. So please be nice and bear with me. I’ll try to update you as soon as I can. I’ll start by explaining how and when I joined crypto. Then let’s see where it leads….
