The SUI Name Service, or SNS for short, is a webspace 3 domain name service based on the SUI block. Simply put, the SUI naming service converts large amounts of long strings of wallet addresses and hash addresses, which are difficult for a human to read, into simple and understandable addresses that come from the DNS (Domain Name System).
This project can be called a technological innovation that is already working in the SUI ecosystem, just like DNS did when it gained popularity. The idea that Sui can scale horizontally and process transactions in parallel suggests that the number of users and wallets will grow to enormous proportions every day. , resulting in the need to purchase a human-readable name tied to your wallet for convenient SUI wealth transfers.
This project is a necessary part for mass adoption of WEB3 and easier use of cryptowallets with inconvenient large character sets. And also a new step towards building a decentralized and understandable Internet WEB3.
