It’s hard to hear and learn about a project early on, and it’s even harder to invest in a project in its early stage without decent due diligence. Traditionally, if you’re not in a VC with great connections with an exceptional portfolio, it’s #ngmi for you!

In 2010 Bitcoin was born, and cryptocurrencies have become a new investment standard for everyone seeking early-stage investment opportunities through decentralization and accessibility! The proverb “The early bird catches the worm” has become even more significant for retail investors. Being early in crypto means even more than in TradFi, not just for the primary market but also for the secondary/retail market; once the TGE (token generation event) occurs, it’s on for everyone!

While the primary market gets their information firsthand from projects, everyone else is left out to aggregate their information via the Web (Google, Discord, Twitter, Telegram,…)! The information gathering is cumbersome and ordinarily only covers the tip of the iceberg. Finding information beyond token ticker, deployment network, total supply, and CEX listing is not straightforward and difficult!

We at Astrol were sick and tired of going through the same-same-but-different data aggregation and sorting process every time to find out more about a project we like. Team and treasury information, smart contract addresses, audit reports, Github commits, on-chain token holder count, community count, upcoming events, Gitcoin grants, project category, deployment date, and more information were all over the place.

🍀 With so much scattered data necessary for DYOR and DD, we have decided to build Astrol, a community-focused Web3 data aggregation platform everyone can access to find early-stage projects with a solid fact-based foundation!
