Astrol is a platform from the community for the community! And naturally, we want all efforts directed into shaping Astrol to be rewarded via PoW - Proof-Of-Work!
This is the initial design of a framework to thank everyone's participation in creating what Astrol will become! Bitcoin and Ethereum wouldn't be what they are today without the ever-expanding communities, and neither will Astrol! Read more about why we created Astrol in our blog: here.
We have designed it this way to enable growth for both Astrol and all community members!
Astrol is a platform to discover startups and companies from the Web3 universe. Startups and companies are 'STARS' of the Web3' UNIVERSE'. Following this motto, we also want Astrol community members to become stars in the Web3 universe. And how do we do that? By following the Stellar evolution, the process by which a star changes with time ⤵️
Astrol is a place where Web3 data is available for all. In the present Beta phase, every one of the 10,000+ Web3 projects shown on Astrol already has its dedicated project page with general information like social media and website links, fundraising information, team information, or even smart contract information.
Our developed A.I. algorithm scans the internet of new projects and adds publicly available information to the database. While the algorithm is robust and works well to find and aggregate each project's basic information automatically, it is imperfect and still lacks information. To deliver a completed set of information that we'd want every Astrol project page to encompass -and to make every future user of Astrol save time glazing into the Web3 universe - Astrol needs community members to support the aggregation of Web3 data! You can contribute by becoming an Astrol Data Contributor (see 2)).
To make Astrol's Web3 data accessible for all, Astrol will need to be out there! Astrol will need to be known, Astrol will need to be used, Astrol will need to be shared, Astrol will need partnerships, Astrol will need business development, Astrol will require new product iterations, Astrol's community needs to be active and heard, and the list goes on. Most importantly, we want all community members to benefit from this. You can contribute by becoming an Astrol Ecosystem Contributor. (see 3))
Below is the current framework for Astrol contributors and shapers:
To ensure high-quality Web3 data is available for all, one of Astrol's priorities is to populate / update / correct the information on its platform. And this is the most straightforward PoW for contributing to the Astrol community. Whether you're a researcher or a Web3 enthusiast browsing for the unicorn, becoming a data contributor will be the most straightforward way to contribute while doing your due diligence. Astrol will implement a submission form on every project page, where you can suggest data to refine a project's data on Astrol. You don't need to have any Web3 experience to participate; we advise you to have Google-ing skills!
Once you have successfully submitted data for a project, you'll receive the Nebula Role on Discord. A nebula is where the stellar evolution journey of a star begins. After becoming the initial form of a star, you'll continue to evolve as you successfully submit and verify the data of other contributors that join you on this evolutionary journey. As you evolve and contribute to Astrol, the last stop is becoming a White Dwarf. Once you're a White Dwarf, the knowledge you've obtained along your evolution will make you a Web3-Data-OG!

To make Astrol a commonly used platform by everyone interested in Web3, we need Astrol Ecosystem Contributors! Everyone who wants to be more hands-on in shaping Astrol is welcome.
The stellar evolution of Astrol Ecosystem Contributors starts just like for data contributors by successfully submitting project data of a project listed on Astrol. Then you can support in the process of shaping Astrol and becoming a high-mass star. Everyone who is a high-mass star will shape Astrol in different aspects of the platform. If you're a product guru, you can support with designing future features; if you're a growth hacker, you can support with building the community; if you're into marketing, let's explore creative ways to make Astrol more know; if you're great with setting up partnerships that can support Astrol, let's do it!
Astrol Ecosystem Contributors join the 'Black Hole PoW Track' to shape and become experts in the field they want to contribute to shaping Astrol! Not only will you be of great help to Astrol but, ultimately, an expert that any Web3 project will have!
As of now, and honestly speaking, we haven't fully finalized the initial requirements for the stellar evolution after becoming a high-mass star on the journey to becoming a Neutron Star or Black Hole. We hope to shape it together with all Astrol Ecosystem Contributors in the coming weeks and months!

Contributions: Participation in growing the Astrol Community, developing its ecosystem, and shaping Astrol to be used by billions.
In Astrol's current form, we are not planning to launch a token that'll get hyped and then dumped, or worse, just get dumped. Rather, we want to experiment with roles that can show what Astrol's community members are capable of, and we want to use NFTs and/or SBTs in a decentralized fashion!
By creating this platform, we do want it to become a self-sustaining one-stop-shop kind of product that can help new founders looking for suitable V.C.s, help all investors to stay updated on the latest funding rounds, help builders to find talent, help researchers to dig-out useful relations, and make Web3 browsing easy and fact-based without all the distracting noise that's out there.
