This weekend I made my first forum post under the headline
‘Change on-chain voting from voting by raise of hands to voting by ballot’
It takes some nursing once the post is live.

The reason for posting it was to protect the delegates.
My initial conclusion is, that because of the technical work it requires, I will probably not spend more time on research, interviews, etc.
If anyone finds it essential to change the voting mechanism from raise of hands to ballot - please let me know!
If anyone is considering moving on with this, I can point you in the direction of Mlna protocol, aiming to provide private voting for ETH DAOs.

General thoughts on forum posts
After making my first post, I have been thinking, about what I would make different if I were about to do it over.
The timing for starting the discussion is important - I would consider the when to bring up a topic by e.g. taking radical market movements into account! (crazy decline in prices happened about at the same time when I published the post).
Remember to be very respectful and recognize other people’s different views.
Remember that it is not about being right, but instead about figuring something out.
Try to see if you are able to engage with the stakeholders the topic actually matters to. Next time, this can probably be done by initial Discord engagement.
The ecosystem around MakerDAO
Today I have participated in meetings with recognized delegates and contributors, and this reminded me how lucky I am to be collaborating with such intelligent and creative people!
I often have a similar experience when listening to general talks with permanent contributors of CU’s/MakerDAO.
It is a pleasure joining a project that attracts this kind of talent!
