And it begins

I am not sure what is the best method to write an article about crypto, specifically Sorare, but I will begin with my journey. Previously, I used to call myself “a big fan” of the Premier League and watch a couple of games including low profile teams every gameweek. This was mainly because of me being a fantasy premier league (commonly used FPL) lover. In the game basically you create a squad with 15 players and submit a squad and grab points every gameweek (GW) according to the performances of players in the real world. I will not annoy anyone with FPL details since the topic of this article is not FPL however; we better understand the differences. Sorare and FPL have similar logic to play with different rules. In both games, you submit a squad every GW and wait your players to perform outstandingly. Why on earth someone prefer Crystal Palace-Brighton game while you can watch Mersyside derby at the same time? Its possibly because of your squad having Brighton players . Yes I said “your players” because when you play FPL, your GW line-up becomes your players hypotetically. On the other hand, you may literally have any players’ card as an NFT on Sorare. You have a chance to collect them on the market or mint on an auction if you offer enough.

With crypto hype in the early 2020s, i heard Sorare for the first time and tried to engage myself with the game. It was the time where Sorare was looking for more partnership and trying to bring more teams to the game. Since FPL is my love and only some Liverpool and West Ham players were, I was not attracted enough. I remember I contacted some guys from twitter and found out the basics of the game. This was my first step to Sorare but I did not invest any money on it which is one of my biggest regrets of all time. Actually sending crypto to your Sorare account was not hard but a little tricky for someone who is not a deeper De-Fi knowledge.

I can hear you saying "Boring, boring!". This is why I stop it here and carry on next time.
