Nowadays, there is a lot of discussions and dialogs regarding the theme of art and science. But what is art and what is science. Can we draw from the efect the definition of art and science? I trust not to change the order of how beings are generated. The definition of a discipline or science is drawn from prescribing what should it be and or what purpose should it serve. Then, one can corelate and limit what is scientific.

The arts remain the same, but they do not pose such value as the art. This concept of art has bloomed in our postmodern epoch. And it has cast a shadow over the old techniques of painting, sculpting, composing, imitating nature. It has grown proportionally with the new media of the global culture. Also, it is deformed from the traditionally concepts of beauty. This abundance of the new physical objects rises the entropy levels and the risks. The risk of being a diletant when you believe you are doing art critique.

I believe it is far too late now to try to grasp the old traditional concepts. To lay a setting in with a contemporary mind can apprehend the old values of the past. We have changed so much and the scale of change is amplifying at every rate of change. So, I do not state that it is impossible to apprehend the old values, but it is far too much work that needs to be done in order to understand something that has no benefit for the present time. And not only it has low benefit, but also it will be misperceived and misinterpreted. Everybody, nowadays understands what art and science means. But not everyone can judge if something that is alike and not art or science, because to have the power to judge something like that, one must have captured the essence of it beforehand.

Most mediocre people do not care if something is right or wrong, if a work is art or is just presuming to be art. The contemporary culture is so configured that something becomes what it is said to become when it is accepted by enough people. But this does not reflect the truth. Science has the pretension to be truth. It has taken the burden to state only what is true. This means that science has correlatively the burden to state the truth about what is false or deceiving. So, it concerns also the domain of falsehood.

But, when it comes to art, there is no such pressure. Because the incentive is financial value. So, the more people state something they vote with their opinions. The most important thing here is that they can say something that contradicts what they have said before. And this means they fall from the scientific discourse. Regarding art most people involved here are not scientists, but are people that do business or have a need to conserve their finances. And if they are engineers or scientists, when they watch a piece of art they do not come at a exhibition with the critical eye of their scientific side, but they just want to enjoy and feel what the work is transmitting and expressing.

Researching these perspectives I had sought to find the true value why one should choose the right path of truth. Choosing the right path is a good thing. But nowadays the worldview regarding good or bad is somehow disregarded. I do not want to analyse here and find the reasons why this is. What I want to share is the reason why one should consider the knowledge of art and science before the incentive of financial value. History is the powerful incentive. It is the long betting. The short betting is opting to remain ignorant of the question regarding the truth about art, science and their products that are techniques and technologies. But what does history mean in this context or under this question? And why is this so important?

Well, because people are mnemonic beings, their well being hangs upon the identification of their own being in others. This is nurturing us. It is a fundamental need of the soul to find analogues beings with which he can share and live in communion. History is the idea that events, works or ideas have past and the reality is changed beginning from what has past. It has an archival value. It is conserving and preserving although some pieces of history are lost. They are lost because there exists more work to be done. It lays with existential treasure. And one can obtain this treasure only if one does have the right itinerary. So, a work of art glows through time streaming the memories of the past. It packs the existential situations of past epochs. That is why a work of art should be differentiated from a work that does not pertain to art.
