Greetings to all,

This is our first drop of the Bible, and I trust you’ll find blessing in it. In the midst of life’s challenges, spirituality is vital. The Bible and its teachings are the only true bunker—a place of safety and strength we can rely on, even if it’s not always comfortable.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1)

Let’s talk about something that cuts through all the noise. You and I both know this world is full of brokenness—confusion, sin, darkness. Ever wonder why things feel so off? It’s because we’ve stepped away from the light. But here’s the good news: that light is still shining. In fact, it’s been shining since the very beginning.

The Bible tells us that "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." That Word is Jesus Christ. He wasn’t created. He is God. He’s been there from the start—before the universe existed, before you and I were born. Everything was made through Him. Think about that! Every star, every tree, even your very breath—He made it all. And without Him, nothing would exist.

But it’s deeper than that. The Bible says, "In Him was life, and that life was the light of men." You know the emptiness inside? The feeling that something’s missing? That’s because we were created to have life through Him. Real life, eternal life. The problem is, we’ve all turned our backs on that life. We’ve sinned. We’ve lied, stolen, lusted, hated—and all of that separates us from God. We’ve chosen the darkness over the light.

Now here’s the scary part. You and I will face judgment one day for every word, every thought, and every deed. We’ve broken God’s Law, and justice is coming. But here’s the best news you’ll ever hear: Jesus Christ, the Word, became flesh. He lived the perfect life you and I couldn’t, and then He took the punishment we deserve on the cross. He died in our place, and then He rose again, defeating death.

The Bible says, "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." No matter how dark this world gets, Christ’s light still shines. The darkness of your sin can’t extinguish it. You can’t hide from it. But the question is—will you let that light in? Will you turn from your sins, repent, and trust in Jesus?

Here’s the reality: you and I can’t escape the light of God’s judgment. But that same light is also the light of God’s grace. If you repent and put your trust in Jesus, your sins will be forgiven. You’ll pass from death to life, from darkness to light. That’s the gospel. The choice is yours: remain in the darkness or step into the light of Christ.
