Mayan is a cross-chain swap auction protocol with the goal of offering the best possible swap rates on Solana for any trade, which is powered by Wormhole. Mayan Finance's goal is to make cross-chain swaps as convenient as native swaps.

Mayan Swap is the implementation of Mayan protocol through set of trustless and permissionless smart contracts.

Mayan Finance works as below:

Mayan Contract: To swap tokens from EVM-based chains with Single Click into desired network. Wormhole Bridge: Mayan team built a new bridge to transfer input tokens along with swap data/instruction using Wormhole token bridge. Portal Contract: For holding an auction to find the best relayer for swaps in the Solana network.

In Q1 of 2023, Mayan team will deploy the supports of Aptos blockchain and will open swap auction.

For Q2 of 2023, chunking, staking and second audit is planned to be done. Team will release the future roadmap soon.

Mayan Finance has already been audited by Ottersec.

Lets look into the requirement for OG role and how to do it! First of all, users just need to do a cross-chain swap with $66 or more assets before 09 February 2023. And eligible users will be able to claim OG Role from Mayan Guild after the end of campaign.

FYI, you can even do cross-chain swap of native assets from any chains which is supported in Mayan Finance. For example, you can swap BNB → SOL or BNB → ETH or AVAX → BNB etc, not wrapped assets like WBNB, WETH, WAVAX.

Now lets complete the cross-chain swap:

• Visit Mayan dApp and connect wallet.

• Select two chains from Ethereum or BNB Chain or Avalanche or Solana for cross-chain swaps.

• For doing swap between EVM-based chains to Solana, you need to connect Solana wallet like Phantom or Glow or Solflare etc..

• Click “Connect Destination wallet” & approve to connect solana wallet.

• After entering the amount ( Better use more than $66 like $70), you need to approve the assets to use

• Click “Allow Mayan to use your BUSD(asset name)” button and confirm the transaction

• No need to edit allowance amount as it will set the requested amount, not unlimited. So you need to do approval transaction for each cross-chain swaps.

• Finally click “Swap” -→ “Confirm Swap” to complete cross-chain swaps

• Now wait for few minutes and you will successfully complete the cross-chain swap

• You can even swap back from Solana → BNB Chain or whatever chains you want.
