Road to Web3 (Learning Challenge Week 1)

Hello EveryBody! ๐Ÿ‘‹

I am Bitfang form EastAsia.I'm delighted to publish this post after finishing Alchemy Learning Challenge week 1.

Who are you, and what is your software development background?

  • I've been a Java developer for around five years, primarily working with backend development in Spring. Still, I have also played around with desktop development with C# on the Windows platform and Web development with Javascript.

Why did you want to complete this lesson?

  • When I tried to learn web3 development, many documents and examples were scattered everywhere, making me feel uncomfortable learning, and I needed to know more systematically. So I came to Alchemy Academy.I have to learn more details.

When did you complete the project?

  • I completed it on November 3rd and found some omissions in the code. When I wanted to redeploy, I discovered that my testEth on the georli testnet was insufficient to deploy the contract, so I waited until November 5th. I am in East Eighth District Time Zone.

What technologies did you use?

  • I edited some stuff with vscode and used the online Remix IDE to code the challenge. It works equally well compared to vscode. The initial code was generated using the OpenZeppelin wizard. This is a nice feature, especially for something like this tutorial. I'm using Filebase for the first time, and it feels good.

What did you enjoy about the tutorial?

  • Compared with my past experience learning web3, I have learned more details, and my knowledge and skills are more systematic, making me very happy.

How do you think you can use this technology to build useful applications in the future? What are some specific example applications?

  • DAPPs built through blockchain technology help people gain more freedom of information and autonomy. You can't imagine what kind of state the data blocked by GFW is not accessible in China. Ordinary people can't access Google, Youtube, or Twitter. It is difficult for people to see different voices, and if there is only one voice, it must be a lie. On SNS in China, the government will delete dissenting opinions at will, and only voices that sing praises can be published. That's why I need to learn web3 technology. One day I can also help build a Chinese SNS like LENS on Polygon.

Who would you recommend this project to?

  • I'm working on putting together my personal web3 website. Show my web3 technology to my family and friends around me. May arouse their interest in new technologies and join me in exploring new worlds.

What is the Ethereum wallet address you would like to receive your PoK at?

  • 0xad9083c6CaDc572988eFB604a87E86F8dE205BdC
