We're a group of young folks who love to express ourselves in many ways. One day we're dancing, the next we're DJing or producing beats. We might even drop a few rhymes or showcase our artistic skills. Honestly, we can be whoever or whatever we want to be.
We hail from different regions, have different skin colors, and different genders, but we're all united by one thing that we're passionate about: marijuana.Thanks to marijuana, we've been able to tap into some real inspiration from nature, which has led us to discover love in unexpected places.
From the early 2000s, we've been a part of the art scene and continue to be so till today. Having worked with artists from all over the world, we ventured into the cannabis industry in 2009.
But due to various intricate reasons and the fact that most territories then still classified marijuana as a drug, it has been a challenging journey for us. We're passionate about real art, and we don't believe in labeling ourselves as 'artists' just because we've mastered a certain skill.
We long for freedom, for art, for love and peace. The art we envision is one that communicates the right ideas to others, one that spreads frequencies farther, and one that creates more good thing together with more people.
But if we don't use the art skills we've mastered to gain some 'wealth,' then we risk being consumed by this seemingly calm yet merciless world. That's why some of the most exceptionally gifted creators lose their initial passion and get drowned in the market. They then no longer care about the art industry they once loved.
The remaining artists who refuse to be subjected to the current societal norms still persist on their path. They've told me: ”If my work isn't recognized by the majority of people, and I use the skill that I have to educate others, then my service should be free. At that time, I'm not even an artist, so I cannot exchange these skills for money. Doing so will only lead me to lose myself and eventually forget my initial dream.“
In the end, this small group of people went down the path that's known as being a drug dealer, and I was once one of them. We used natural plants gifted by God to exchange for money, with the aim of better persisting in our artistic creative path, rather than being "cool" in the eyes of others. Before making these decisions, we also researched a lot of information and learned about the entire history of the cannabis culture. We think it's ridiculous to define it as a drug, even behind which there are some unspeakable conspiracies.
During countless days in the past, we experienced numerous dangers. Some friends were even sent to prison, while others were threatened at gunpoint to become informants. However, this group of people never gave up on the truth in the face of oppression.
Fortunately, in 2011, I entered the Silk Road through connections in the cannabis culture, and by extension, entered the cryptocurrency industry. This is why you see us standing here today.
