NFTS are here to stay. Today we know of the much vaunted JPEGs that have sold for astronomical prices, such as the collection BORED APE YACH CLUB, whose largest work is estimated at around R$16,000.00, or works such as Everydays - The First 5000 Days, which sold for an impressive $69,000.00. But is there something behind these JPEGs? Is it possible to use them in everyday life?

Some NFT collections already offer some benefits that are applicable in daily life. For example, it is possible to participate in events, receive awards, belong to a select group attended by celebrities such as Neymar, Justin Beaber, Paris Hilton and Snop Dog, among other benefits that the possession of one of these collectibles offers its owner. In this context, it is possible to imagine that NFTs could eventually be used as tickets to real-life events. This has already happened at some events in the cryptocurrency universe. In March, for example, there was an event called "AZUKI GARDEN PARTY" where admission was exclusively via NFTs.

Although current applications are focused on the crypto environment, it is possible that in the future we will see exhibitions of great artists trading NFTs. Have you ever imagined attending an exhibition of your favorite artist with an exclusive piece of their art? The technology would act as a bridge, like admission to an exhibition, along with automatic payment to the artists and if your NFT is rare, you could still have access to restricted areas of the exhibition, all guaranteed by the smart contract. It would also be possible to avoid fraud and there would still be the possibility of these NFTs increasing in value as the artist takes off in their career.
The development of technology has also allowed the fashion sector to enter this market. Thanks to augmented reality, DOCE & GABBANNA and AUROBOROS brands can also offer their collections in NFT. The application is very simple, the person who purchases the works in NFT format can try on their looks in the augmented reality environment, has access to exclusive events, to places previously reserved for celebrities, is pampered and, of course, has access to the physical collection.

Another adaptation that is already widespread among influencers, artists and content producers is the use of NFTs to monetize content. It is possible to find platforms for different content and audiences. Technology and innovation have always brought great advances to society. NFTs have the potential for big changes in the way we organize ourselves in society, the application is already happening and will become even bigger with the advent of the Metaverse. I believe many more applications will emerge and develop in the next 5 years. But what about you, do you know of any other application of the NFTS?
