GTA VI Is in the queue of the most anticipated games in recent years. The franchise has always emerged to revolutionize the market and introduce new concepts to the gamer community. This tradition has not changed, and everything indicates that in the next edition of the game there will be an interaction with the cryptocurrency market. And there? Curious to know more? Read the article to the end and find out how Rockstar plans to integrate our beloved cryptocurrencies into its universe.

The gaming industry
The gaming market turns over billions of dollars, creates jobs every year and brings huge developments in technology. Of course, this industry cannot be excluded from the cryptocurrency market, let alone from the innovations that blockchain offers. At blocklize, we have already worked with a few projects related to games aimed at the crypto market, and while there's a lot of "crap" out there, it's clear to us that the directions this market is taking will impact the entire game development niche. One can imagine games in the future using the "play to earn" system and rewarding the community, or even using the blockchain so that the game is accessible worldwide, as well as all games that use this technology and are on the market today. Is Rockstar naive, then?

What can be expected from the franchise?
If you look at the history of the games, you can see that the "revolutions" happened gradually, that the game broke paradigms since its launch, and that even today you can find futuristic elements in GTA Saandreas (2004). After all, who does not remember the backpacks that allowed CJ to fly? Or the codes that made the game experience immersive? In 2008, it was no different in GTA IV. The game began to introduce the theme of investments, and there was already the possibility of seeing a building on the map that represented one of the largest companies on the stock market. But it was not until 2013 that the theme was fully taken up in GTA V, and it became possible to buy and sell stocks and even manipulate the stock market. The game has always been ahead of its time, and this will be no different in the next edition, as everything indicates that the game will have a reference to the crypto market. For a start, the game will be able to incorporate cryptos into the storyline, and just as the dollar and stocks are already part of the story, Bitcoin and other currencies can be new ways for characters to earn money during the game.

Will players be rewarded?
There is no information yet on how the inclusion of cryptocurrencies will work, but I imagine it will be gradual. Similar to the stock market, it's possible that we will see a more conservative nod at first, and then the development of this application in the next few games. It is possible that in the next few years we will see games with play-to-earn interaction and a universe that rewards players, users, companies, missions, and Rockstar itself, creating a sustainable economic system within the games.
Although the dream of being rewarded while playing GTA is within reach, it probably will not come true on GTA VI, but the simple fact that a big company like Rockstar is waving to the crypto market proves that we are not delusional if we believe in the future and in the possibilities that the blockchain offers. So, will GTA reward players?
