A new chapter is coming.

The past year has been one of the most promising of my career.

I’ve been fortunate to generate ~75 ETH of onchain revenue - a testament to the opportunity this new sector has to offer.

That being said - I feel strongly that we need to make being onchain exciting for the next generation of collectors.

It can’t all be about the money - it needs to be about the experience.

That’s why I’ve been exploring projects like MODERN ROMANCE and CURRENCY to bring an element of culture to onchain music.

Next - I’m excited to cement my back catalog onchain ahead of my biggest move to date.

CLASSICS is a 5-part series dropping on Sound everyday this week.

It features 5 singles that defined my career prior to utilizing web3 - and creates a canvas to explore music that my collectors may have never heard until now.

Here’s how it works

The project will consist of 5 singles and 1 bonus track.

Each song will highlight a different period and chapter of bloody white before coming onchain.

Songs are released in descending order, with the supply becoming more scarce with each drop.

1. TONGUE TIED - 250 editions at 0.002 ETH 

2. IM BUSY - 150 editions at 0.002 ETH

3. SICKENING - 100 editions 0.0025 ETH

4. VIOLENCE - 50 editions 0.005 ETH

5. SCARS - 25 editions 0.01 ETH

There will be a 30 minute presale for 20% of the supply of each song at 0.001 ETH for CLASSICS collectors.

Golden Egg winners will all receive a different edition of a bloody white song currently onchain - increasing in rarity with each drop. 

Each of these songs has played a significant role in my career to date. 

tongue tied - Most Streams

This song validated my career choice more than any of my other releases.  It currently sits at 3,436,782 Spotify streams at the time of writing this.  It garnered me a fair amount of label attention and blog write ups.  I hadn’t experienced anything like that before.  While my style and taste has evolved since this release, it still remains an integral part of my history as an artist.

i’m busy - New Music Friday

This was my first New Music Friday placement.  I remember being in a session at night and my manager called me freaking out.  It was surreal being on an official playlist alongside artists I had admired since I was a kid.  

In terms of style, this release cemented my love for electronic music into my catalog.  Its positive reception gave me more confidence in the releasing future electronic-oriented releases.

Sickening - Reality Check

I’ve grown up having a love for more intimate alternative music.  This song, at the time, felt to me like my most experimental release within the alternative genre.  It also marked the end of my working relationship with people within the traditional music industry.  It was my first solo release after releasing through traditional web2 outlets for several years.

Violence - New Lane

This is one of my darkest releases.  Much of the music that really sold me on becoming a producer was darker, more evil sounding electronic.  I wanted to combine my existing vocal style with a more threatening instrumental.  I think this song further expands the range of what is expected of me in terms of genre.

Scars - Underrated

This is a song that I wished had gained more attention.  In the final chorus it scratches an itch for me that I don’t quite know how to explain.  Despite its lackluster reception, I love this track wholeheartedly.  I hope you do too.

Minting these songs gives them a special place in my onchain catalog.

As I bounce between one-off singles and curated projects - combining the two by offering a collection of my most prized songs of the past ties the two worlds together.

You can think of this series as my greatest hits series - reimagined in a new way.

Collectors of the full series will receive an airdrop of a special bonus track - one that exists from my back catalog and that ties a bow on the whole series.

Being an independent artist in 2023 is not easy.

Despite making 6-figures on my onchain music (which I’m extremely thankful for) - it’s been difficult for me to find financial stability between living in LA and marketing my music.

This series is a way for me to shine light on the songs that have brought me this far, and grants me some runway to power the next chapter of my career.

I can’t say much yet - but know that something big is coming.
