Q: Can you briefly describe what Otherside Wiki is and its main objectives?
A: Our goal is that Otherside-Wiki is your go to platform for any information related to Otherside. Our current focus is based on trading data, but this will most probably change as soon experiences are out, I don’t want to spoil too much, but we are ready and can adapt very fast. From game experience, tutorials, up to different collections.

Q: What inspired the creation of Otherside Wiki, and how does it differentiate itself from other tools for the NFT space?
A: I was a lifelong gamer and was very inspired by Otherside as soon as I saw the first video.
I was inspired to create Otherside Wiki because I saw the need for a tool to be created that explains the complex variations of Otherside, as it was difficult to understand the rarities and the connections, which is nevertheless still a problem since we haven't received much information from Yuga Labs yet.
As an avid League of Legends player, I've seen that gaming platforms have tremendous traction when they have the necessary data, from analytics to user-created maps to user-created tutorials. Most tools in the NFT space are very finance related, we want to do a mix of both, a gaming platform + financial data.

Q: Can you explain what got you and your team interested in Yuga Labs and Otherside specifically?
A: Yuga Labs has made quite a name for themselves. I became aware of them fairly early on, but it wasn't until the first Otherside trailer that It really took my attention.
As mentioned above, i am a gaming fan and I think Otherside is going to be a huge gaming platform, and that piqued my interest.
Q: How do you ensure that the information on Otherside Wiki remains up-to-date and relevant for the community?
Constant engagement and updates, we nearly work since a year everyday on the platform, a lot have changed and improved over time and still a lot Is missing.
We also plan to get more into user-generated content, but currently Otherside is not at that stage yet, but we will quickly adapt, as soon it gets relevant.

Q: Does Otherside Wiki allow contributions from the community? If so, how can enthusiasts get involved?
A: We always accept suggestions and support, but no one can help us with the development itself.
But as mentioned above, the more otherside is developed, the more we hope for user content and contributions
Q: Are there any unique features or tools on Otherside Wiki that users might not be aware of but should definitely check out?
A: I think most of our tools are well known. As we see from the engagement statistics is that our user loves our marketplace browsers.
I think users don't really know about our price alert tool, which allows them to be notified by email or even by Discord message when a certain feature drops massively in price. It's a pretty complex tool because you can really tailor the notifications to multiple traits.
here is a lot of background data that is basically displayed in a small field, especially our Otherdeed valuation was a lot of work, it doesn't always fit, but gives you a rough estimate of how much your Otherdeed is worth. We still improve this algorithm, and it will get better and better!
Another complex tool is the Wallet Inventory, which gives you a massive overview of all the Otherdeeds in certain wallets, if you are a collector who wants almost everything, this tool is a must for you 😊.

Q: What have been some of the biggest challenges in maintaining and updating Otherside Wiki, especially with the rapid evolution of gaming assets?
A: We have evolved over time. First, we started with data from opensea only, then we slowly expanded to all marketplaces, for that we had to change a lot over time because we saw that the structure didn't fit anymore. That was quite a challenge and took a lot of time.
We've had a lot of issues because of the complexity of our internal database which has grown massively over time, currently we already have ~12GB of pure data stored, as we got bigger, we saw that our servers weren't enough, so we had to expand quickly. You must imagine that we don't even have game data stored there yet, so this is going to grow massively, and we want to be prepared for that.
Another big challenge was the decoupling, we wanted the change to be live as soon as it was online and we made it, which meant about 2 weeks of preparation and a lot of speculation from our side on how the new collection + koda + vessel will look like. We anticipated everything and had it ready from the first second.
There are a lot of challenges, but we are always focused and fixed them quite fast.

Q: For someone new to Yuga Labs and its gaming assets, what would be your top three recommended articles or sections to explore on Otherside Wiki?
A: I suppose the best site to get all the information about Otherside is this site: https://www.otherside-wiki.xyz/otherdeed And the following links where they go. I also think our Analytics dashboard is interesting to understand certain rarities more in detail, especially on tier level.
If there any questions left, we recommend to join our discord, where are a lot of Otherside enthusiast which love to answer your questions.

Q: How can users provide feedback or suggestions to improve Otherside Wiki, and how do you prioritize implementing these suggestions?
A: The best way is to contact me directly or leave a message in Discord.
We have our roadmap and we are trying to reach our goals, but if there are certain changes or updates for otherside, we will adjust and prioritize them first!
If we see a massive game changing idea as feedback, we will priotize the suggestion quite high, we are agile and just change if its needed.

I want to give HUGE thanks to my friend and founder of Otherside-Wiki, Frostyz for such great responses to the questions we asked.
