dYdX is currently refining certain features of Public Testnet 2 and plans to launch it on August 14th.
opBNB Testnet to Undergo PreContract Hard Fork on August 14th
BNB Chain has announced that the opBNB testnet will undergo a PreContract hard fork to update the pre-deployed contract WBNB, which will be renamed Wrapped BNB with the symbol WBNB. The hard fork block height is set at 5114294 and is expected to trigger on August 14th at 14:00 Beijing time. opBNB full node operators need to complete the upgrade before the specified time.

Russia Plans to Begin Pilot Testing Digital Ruble on August 15th
The Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Russia, Olga Skorobogatova, announced that a pilot test of the digital ruble will commence in Moscow and 10 other cities on August 15th. Over 12 Russian banks will participate in the testing, with actual transactions scheduled to start on the same day. Moscow will also launch digital ruble transactions in its public transportation system. In July of this year, the Russian parliament passed legislation related to the introduction of a digital currency by the Central Bank of Russia. Russian President Putin subsequently signed the digital ruble bill into law, paving the way for the country's CBDC development.
