Life

When a person comes into this world, it is to face all manner of tests and trials. Life is but a succession of hurdles, with each phase bringing new challenges to overcome. As infants, we learn to lift our heads, sit, crawl, and walk - mastering the simple yet crucial tasks of early life. As children, we confront new social dynamics in school and on the playground, learning to cooperate, share, compete, and compromise.

In adolescence, we navigate changing relationships, emerging sexuality, and growing self-awareness. The trials of this period sculpt our identity and values. In young adulthood, we strive for independence, education, and financial stability, struggling to find our footing in an unforgiving world. Midlife brings tests of career, family, and meaning, as we seek to balance competing priorities and determine our legacy. In our later years, declining health and loss of loved ones force us to reflect and realign our priorities.

At every turn, life demands resilience, adaptability, wisdom, strength of character, and determination. The trials are tailored to help us grow into better versions of ourselves. Though we may feel crushed at times under their weight, it is by confronting such tests that our spirit is honed. When viewed from this perspective, the hurdles of life are not something to escape, but rather an opportunity for profound self-realization. By embracing and learning from each challenge, we open the door to transcendence.
