Is humanity headed to the right direction?

The word “right” in this sentence would mean “just”.

Most laymen are busy occupying themselves with questions such as:
“Would I be able to grow rich enough to retire with enough money?”

The so-called “well educated” are not so much different.

They invest their time and mental energy mostly on activities and schemes to accumulate wealth; fame and sense of superiority and relevance through material & status gain.

Only few souls that somehow miraculously manage to stay afloat on top of the wave of selfish greed, lucky enough to have spared some time to do their own research and critical thinking are damned with the opportunity to ask the noble question.

Is humanity headed towards the right direction?

Let’s put aside the question of right and wrong, and instead look at where it’s headed.

It’s the end of 2021, and we’ve seen historical, gradual oppression of freedom thanks to COVID 19 pandemic.

The humanity has suffered various sorts of pandemic, SARS and EBOLA recently before COVID 19 but never have we experienced such lockdowns.

Fear and censorship level regarding the issue grew so high that it was the citizens themselves who were inspecting each other whether or not they would go out partying during the lockdowns, wear masks outside or get vaccinated.

Even with vaccinations and lockdowns, life after Covid 19 will no longer be the same, as the governments would continue to leverage COVID 19 and other pandemics to come to control its citizens. 

The destruction of environment and weather anomalies continue.

Social division and confusion due to political correctness and identity politics will aggravate, along with the newly added division between the vaxxed and the unvaxxed.

Within human psychosis there is an epidemic of narcissism and selfishness that emphasizes individual freedom and idolization of external beauty and style; while the notion of sacrifices made for community and the next generation is neglected.

People will distance themselves physically from one another due to all of the reasons above - environment destruction, pandemics, social hostility and selfishness - and will instead unleash their animal/human instinct to socialize, compete, fight and to flaunt in Metaverses which will form a giant Matrix.

This means less soccer, jogging, or shopping and partying outside at a phyisical location on earth, but rather at a location on meta verse. 

Soon the human connections and intimacy will be only be possible in the Matrix.

There would be ever more unmarried, single people living apart, and they would have sex in the virtual world with virtually simulated avatars, with electronic signals and hormone pills creating orgasms in human body. 

Just like in the movie ‘Inception’.

The environment will continue to grow toxic and only the rich and able would be able to leave the planet earth on Elon Musk’s offsprings Space X ships or the Snowpiercer trains.

Is this the right way to go?

Apparently the 0.001 percent certainly does think so.

People who truly run the world.

The true elites of the world are doing what they feel is the right thing to do - to prepare humanity for the next centuries to come.

They’ve decided the doom for this planet is near.
And justly so, as the planet is clearly overpopulated, and will soon be too crowded and deplete of natural resources for humanity to flourish. 

Before humans can safely live in other planets such as Mars, they thought they need to buy humanity some more time.

Enter, Metaverses or the Matrix.

Humans living, playing, monetizing, socializing and even copulating in Metaverse would produces less CO2. Period.

There will always be new Covid 19 to deter people from gathering in they physical realm while human jobs are gradually taken over by A.I.s.

Where would the left-over humans sustaining their lives on government subsidy spend their time? Or the unemployed generation make a living?

The answer is again, the Metaverse, which will soon become a giant web of the new realm of reality called the Matrix.

New jobs would be created - designers and creators making and building digital goods and assets.

People not working in the factories to earn a living but rather in Play to Earn games.

A few who are still needed in physical labor would, just like Tesla’s cars would mine coins using their body heat, thanks to Microsofts’ patent WO2020060606.

As long as you have enough money, you might actually not age at all. 

Again, I ask the question.

Is this the right way to go?

Some may say yes, as pandemics and environment would force us to stay at our homes anyway and we cannot stop the developments of techs such as A.I. 

My answer is no.

Because that would mean that the humans will no longer be humans. 

The rich would be able to afford immortality, a heaven on earth or in space. 

The poor would be treated like excess human garbage, or a bio-heat powered batteries used to run A.I.s and Nodes needed to fuel the Matrix. 

The human batteries would be in a sleep-like coma. 

Their minds would be free to roam around the Matrix, eat whatever they want and do whatever they want in a matrix built to make their minds alive. 

Just like in the movie Matrix.

Again, I ask you the question: Is this the right way to go?
