Mistress of NightmaresMistress of Nightmares was one of the two original Dynamic characters alongside Crimson Paladin. Mistress was released with a higher sale price than Crimson, however she has a much lower supply of only 100 and has lower targets for levelling up. At the time of writing, Mistress is a level 9 epic character.
For anyone that’s not aware, Dynamic cards do not level in the traditional method. Simply own one card, and it is levelled for you as more players join the game. As you can see from the chart above, Mistress of Nightmares will be a level 10 legendary character when we hit 10,000 unique players over a 30 day period. Mistress has the lowest Dynamic targets in the game and so will be the first Dynamic character to reach level 10 legendary status.
As an epic card, Mistress is a phenomenal carry for your deck; she has 7 health, which is difficult to deplete as her ability DrainLife2 heals her for 2 health with every successful attack. Range 3 allows Mistress to attack from behind allied troops, with Fanatic2 boosting her attack power with each successful attack. The community have already demonstrated it’s possible to boost her attack to incredible levels. Mistress will truly be something to be reckoned with when she reaches legendary, boosting her abilities to DrainLife3 and Fanatic3.
Countering Mistress can be difficult; as already mentioned Range3 means its easy for her to be hidden behind melee troops. Use moves like Stun to upset your opponents intended order of troops or use abilities like Penetrate to cut through walls of your opponents troops to reach Mistress. Once Mistress is exposed attack with several troops to ensure she’s defeated before she has chance to start rebuilding her health from her Drain Life ability.
How do I get myself a Mistress of Nightmares?Mistress of Nightmares was sold in the Kingdom Karnage store but has sold out. As a Dynamic character, she has a limited supply, there will only ever be 100 Mistresses in the game. As already discussed you can expect her to get stronger as more players join the game. She can currently only be bought from other players, click here to see/buy her on the JumpNet marketplace.
