The picture shows a tug of war with people pulling relentlessly from both ends of the rope. Back in the minds of the people participating in this strenuous exercise, they want to emerge victorious and reign over their rivalsBack to real life, we have people who we perceive to be rivals all around us. Thanks to them, we strive harder and achieve more. As is shown in the picture, no matter who wins between the two groups, they will both learn a great deal from their opponents.
It is of benefit to have a competitor in the life. If we have defeated our rivals, we defeat ourselves as well. On the other hand, if we cannot win against them, we improve our ability which enables us to have bravery in facing the ups and downs of life. Therefore, we should express our gratitude to our rivals, showing them that we are not afraid of challenges at all.
What should be encouraged is healthy competition because it is through this that we learn more from each other. We should also adopt a behaviour of expressing gratitude to our opponents and not hatred. What should be noted by all is that our lives cannot be complete and interesting were it not for our rivals who keep us on our toes
