Back in January, I left my corporate job with a simple plan:
Take a break.
Breathe.
Reset.
After years in the noise, I thought I’d slow things down.
Spend more time with family. Clear my head.
But life had other plans.
I fell into the AI space... fast.
Started building.
Started sharing.
Started working with businesses that were genuinely excited about what’s possible.
And before I knew it, I was in it.
All in.
Meetings. Building, Educating, Late nights.
Wins stacking up. Momentum kicking in.
It’s been one of the most fulfilling chapters of my life.
But this week?
It caught up with me.
I felt it in my body first, tired, heavy, scattered.
Then in my mind, a little foggy, a little flat.
So I listened.
I hit pause.
Took a few days to rest, recharge, and reset properly.
And here’s what I want to say:
If you’re building something, anything.
You don’t need to grind 24/7 to be successful.
You don’t need to earn your rest.
Burnout doesn’t always announce itself.
Sometimes it creeps in slowly.
And if you don’t pay attention, it can take more from you than a few quiet days off ever will.
This isn’t a story of struggle.
It’s a reminder that stepping away is part of the process.
Clarity comes in the quiet.
So does resilience.
So does creativity.
Take care of yourself.
The mission can wait 48 hours.
You’ll come back sharper.
Catch you on the next one.
