Neverland Island does have one more odd character in its midst. The river runs straight through the island in an inverted V, creating the impression of two islands. While their true separate halves are about 30 meters apart, the impression of two separate islands makes some people wonder if Neverland Island is two islands or a single artificial island. Conclusion It appears as if it was never quite clear how big Neverland Island really is. At least it is a great addition to your visit to the Hermit Kingdom. The truth is more mundane, but still worth a mention. The black and white look “It wasn’t until we showed some photographs of the island to somebody who grew up on the sea that we realized that the island looked black and white,” Mr. Choi said. “The people who were born and raised on the island remember it as white, or pale.” When asked about the island’s appearance in the real world, Mr. Choi paused for a moment. “Ah yes,” he said. “Well, that could be one of the real-world elements we added to the island.” What you may not know is that Japanese scientists studied the place in 1980.
