This is my first post. I wanted to explain the idea behind Bytes n Builds and what I plan to do with it in the next few months. Who am I tho? Just call me K.

Bytes n Builds will be a place where I can track and publish my web3/blockchain work. There will be a twitch account where I’ll be doing live coding, youtube account where I’ll be doing follow up explanations, and this blog where I’ll do recaps, plan what’s next, and post updates on things I find cool in the space.

For the past few years I did mobile development and then recently moved to devops. During my devops transition I signed up for Consensys Bootcamp and started doing some work on Build Space. This has led me to want to do more blockchain work and I’m thinking I’ll focus on the solana network, so I can use more Rust.

If there are any big goals I have job wise, I’d love to really start getting 1-2 contracts a month in this area and maybe land a developer relations job. Regardless of how this ends, thank you for joining me for the ride and I hope we all grow successful together!
