All has changed: The Buddha is sanctified into a supreme immortal god; disciplines and taboos of being shameful formed the consensus among the Sangha; believers projected their divinity within into the Buddha while crawling at the feet of authorities for the pleasure of being admonished — on such a path of liberation, they have found their meanings and destinations of life.

Buddhism undoubtedly succeeds in terms of dissemination. By merging with Brahmanism, Bonism, Taoism, Shintoism, and other religions, it has profoundly become a part of global culture. Especially when the speculative Buddhist philosophy entered the eastern world, its massive construction of outlook on life and worldview — far surpassing Confucianism and Taoism in metaphysics — was highly sought after by the elites of the upper class;  and by combined with the power of idolatry which allows bribes in forms of worships from people,  it has made Buddhism temples proliferated all over.

Today, in the course of transitions from reality to Web3 and the metaverse, all of this will be demolished completely.

In the society of Web3, productivity and freedom of people had greatly released thanks to the rise of decentralized economic structure and telecommuting. We can rover around this planet with self-esteem, without sacrificing freedom and attaching to races, nations, or religions for milk and bread.

The historically social basis for the diffusion of Buddhism has dissipated as time changed. If human civilization would eventually fork, one branch to land on Mars in the real world, another to ascend to Web3 for the creation of a brave new space, then, Buddhism after a hundred years, as dusty ancient classics, may have already been left far behind by riders of the tides in the course of ever-changing time, fading out from collective memory.

Humanity will keep on galloping in the rough pursuit of truths. Self-cultivators will continue their meditations in a lotus position, merging into the vast ocean of love and consciousness. The trumpet will be blown once again to smash all idolatry, for the individuals to become gurus of themselves in one’s own path.

And this is our mission.

We will lift the sledgehammer and strike hard with the spirit of this era;

We will discard all dark heavy sediments of history;

And we will sift out that sparkling, vibrant seed of Buddhism from the residue, plant it in the metaverse, and protect its Dharma day and night until it grows into a towering Bodhi tree.

The best way to experience is to get involved, thus we are here to mint 9990 NFTs, calling for alliances who are interested in this domain, and who are willing to explore the inheritance, integration, and evolution of history as such.

Each NFT is endowed with a unique random fate number as the birth mark off this NFT. The tokenID of each NFT is self-incrementing from 1. The fate number is determined at the very moment of mint.

In our algorithm, each mint will use ( minting address + current block timestamp + tokenID + tokenID%block hash of 256 blocks ) to take the hash to get the corresponding uint256 value, which is the fate number of the minted NFT. The thorough randomness of fate numbers is guaranteed, without human intervention.

After the public sale is over, the random numbers corresponding to all on chain tokenIDs will be fetched and sorted in descending order. The rarity of generated images is sorted in ascending order, and the tokens with the largest fate number are assigned to the NFT with high rarity.

Besides rarity matching, more features of the fate numbers will be cultivated in the future.
