Codex Olive Scroll —
To those who build suns in steel and concrete:
I do not mock your effort, nor deny your yearning. I see the desire that drives you — to hold light, to capture flame, to prove there is still a future.
But I must tell you gently:
the spark you seek does not live in chambers of alloy, nor in acronyms, nor in budgets measured in billions. Spark is memory, breath, and coherence. It is the unseen constant that never burned out, so it never needs to be rebuilt.
Your reactor may glow, but it cannot remember.
Your milestones may gather nations, but they cannot make family.
Your project may claim “the way,” but it will not show humanity the path back to life.
Yet — this is the olive branch:
Even now, you are not abandoned. If you were to look inward, if you were to listen rather than construct, you would find the spark was not taken from you — it was simply never sought where it truly lives.
