We are excited to announce that zkSync Era is free open source, as promised, under MIT/Apache 2.0 license. Being community owned is part of our mission, and we couldn’t take an approach other than making our code opened. Our zkEVM has been live on testnet for over a year and on mainnet since October, and has been through lots of testing and audits.
