Project Development Details
The CESS testnet has been updated to v0.7.5 and consists of consensus nodes and storage nodes. Consensus nodes maintain the world state of the CESS network (by CESS Node)and serve as the “data authentication station” (by TEE Worker). Storage nodes provide verifiable storage space and serve as the “data storage pool” in the CESS network.
1. Consensus Miner [v0.7.5]
Completed the upgrade of CESS Node and merged with the Git repository, supporting a higher version of the substrate framework.
Updated the TEE Worker idle space proof algorithm library, improving the verification speed of idle random challenge proofs.
Fixed the issue of consensus nodes being unable to produce blocks when all TEE Workers across the network exit.
Enhanced the interaction logic in the nodeadm program for configuring TEE Worker endpoints, pushing version v0.5.2.
Fixed potential conflicts with the host’s network during the deployment of TEE Worker Kaleido program.
Addressed issues with network access when using nginx reverse proxy for TEE Worker gRPC service requests.
2. Storage Miner [v0.7.6]
Fixed the issue of storage nodes being unable to automatically recover idle files that are damaged.
Resolved the problem of storage nodes being unable to start due to the loss of idle space proof data.
Updated the storage node readme document, adding boot node configuration instructions.

Fixed DeOSS file storage errors caused by distributing user files to unauthenticated storage nodes.
Updated rust-sdk metadata to synchronize with CESS Node.

Event:
The miner reward event for the CESS testnet continued as storage and consensus miners can earn points by participating. Points can be exchanged for CESS tokens when the mainnet launches.

CESS participated in an immersive space event, where the focus was on discussing BNB. Discovered how CESS, as a blockchain-driven decentralized storage and content delivery network (CDN) infrastructure for Web3, reshaped DePIN.

CESS is all set to launch its latest testnet, v0.7.5, scheduled for November 29th at UTC 8AM. This update will introduce iterative enhancements and optimizations across three core modules: Storage Nodes, Consensus Nodes, and Decentralized Object Storage Service (DeOSS).
