At the airport , Rachel was feeling nervous . It was her first time flying on an airplane . She approached the check-in counter and handed over her passport and ticket to the attendant . “ Here you go ,” Rachel said , her voice shaking a little . The attendant smiled kindly . “ Don't worry , everything will be fine . Your flight is on time , and your gate is B14 . Have a safe trip !” Rachel felt a bit more relaxed and made her way through security . She took off her shoes , put her carry-on luggage on the conveyor belt , and stepped through the metal detector . After collecting her belongings , Rachel found her gate and sat down to wait for her flight . She watched as people hurriedly walked by , dragging their suitcases behind them . Some families with children were excitedly talking about their vacation plans . Soon it was time to board the plane . Rachel got in line and handed her ticket to the flight attendant . She found her seat , fastened her seatbelt , and tried to calm her nerves . During the flight , Rachel watched movies , read a book , and even slept for a while . Before she knew it , the plane had landed at her destination . She collected her luggage and made her way to the exit , where her family was waiting to greet her . “ Welcome back , Rachel ! How was your flight ?” her mother asked , giving her a hug . “ It was great , Mom ,” Rachel replied with a smile . “ I can't wait to do it again !”
