Early in the morning of school return day, the prepared apples were carried by the staff to the South Gate of the north campus and the west gate of the south campus. Volunteers set up shapes for the apples at the gate of the school. The sweet and crisp big apples quietly welcomed the return of Xinong students. In the morning, as the students entered the school one after another, they immediately received a surprise of “Ping” an. “I feel particularly proud to have access to the research results of my alma mater.” Holding big red apples, everyone’s faces are filled with heartfelt joy and the meticulous care of the school.

It is understood that Baishui County is the hometown of apples, and the apple test station of Northwest University of agriculture and forestry science and technology is in Baishui. In order to thank Northwest University of agriculture and forestry for its contribution to Baishui apple industry, Baishui County Party committee and county government donated 10000 love apples to Xinong students in the opening season to help them return to school safely. Over the years, the team of Professor Zhao Zhengyang of Northwest University of agriculture and forestry science and technology has cultivated independent brands such as Ruixue, Ruiyang and ruixianghong. These varieties have become the key apple varieties planted in Baishui County and have made great contributions to the high-quality development of the apple industry in Baishui County.
