Cheers Behind the Scenes

The New Cheers Bio

Over the past few weeks, we have been working on the big update on Cheers Bio (previously known as Web3 Pass or RSS3 Bio). Now is the time for the debut.

Besides upgrading to the latest RSS3 SDK, we have spent most of our time refactoring the whole application, including its name, logo, and design.

Let’s start with its new name, Cheers. We ended up with this word because we hope it ships fun and delightfulness. We also like how this word itself represents a sense of chill and cheerfulness. Visually, we carefully picked a light and warm theme color to match this cheerful experience we aim to build.

In addition to a more polished UI, we hope to provide you with a better experience in showing off your assets. More specifically, we offer more freedom on arranging your collectibles. In Cheers, you are able to reorder or list/unlist your NFTs just like what you used to in Web3 Pass.

On top of that, you can drag your collectibles into three new sections, Games, Awards, and Organizations. We have realized that as the Web3 community grows, many NFTs are not just digital collectibles anymore. They are associated with different projects or applications and tend to have more functional meanings. Therefore, we designed these three new sections to help you better show off your Web3 activities in a shot.

In Games, you can put anything you believe associated with many games, from lands in Sandbox to horses in Zed Run.

In Awards, you are welcome to drag any notable NFTs here that can mark your involvement, contribution, or achievements.

In Organizations, you can list NFTs they got from, for example, DAOs, or those that represent your membership in any kind of organization (teams, projects, companies, etc.)

If you do not want to make any additional categorization on your NFTs, you can simply leave them in the default Collectibles section. The support of Donations, Footprints, and Content is continued in the new Cheers Bio.

With Cheers Bio, we hope you can show off your Web3 in a shot. You can easily exhibit your Web3 activities and collections, as well as subscribe to your friends or people you are interested in.

Cheers is currently in the indoor testing stage and is temporarily by invitation only. Before its full launch, you can still access your homepage via Web3 Pass (https://rss3.bio). From now on, our Cheers team will also take over the maintenance of Web3 Pass till its full migration to Cheers.

If you have more than 50 follower, you are highly likely on the list. If you have already gained an indoor testing permission, you can invite 3 friends under your account.

Cheers Tag

We are also preparing some small gadgets for Cheers users. You can stick it wherever you want. When you want to show someone else your Cheers Bio, just let them tap with their phone or any device with an NFC reader.
