Getting to know Petit

Petit is an App that helps turn your favored NFTs into Widgets on your iPhone. Besides, any Petit-generated Widget can track the floor price of NFT, ETH price and Gas Fee in timely fashion, as well as to locate the NFT Twitter, Discord address, etc.

Petit’s Story

Despite the faltering NFT economy this year, I, as a long-term supporter or sermonizer of Web3, have been looking on its trend and bought in some NFTs when I still could not afford them.

Although it still takes time to figure out how much most NFTs actually worth, making iPhone Widgets out of well-designed NFTs seems to me an extremely cool thing to do, because it brings NFT into your everyday life simply through your phone.

Bearing this in mind, as a software engineer, I decided to independently develop an iOS App which unites NFT with iOS Widget.

After one month of work, Petit was launched.

Petit 1.0 includes these following functions, which generally cover most of my expectations on this project:

  1. It can connect any ETH address and help obtain all NFTs under this address.

  2. Every NFT can be made into 5 Widgets of different designs which can respectively help track the floor price of NFT, ETH price and Gas Fee. These Widgets facilitate you to customize responding events, skip to Opensea, Twitter or Discord of the project.

  3. It supports LockScreen on iOS 16: you can set an LockScreen widget on an iOS 16 iPhone and timely track the ETH price and Gas Fee.

The future of Petit

Apart from being an iOS Widget App that nicely unites NFT, Petit also aims at uniting Web 3 lovers from all over the world. Feedback collected from Twitter and Discord can help iterate Petit.

My correct plan includes:

  1. Petit is a NFT-based community rather than just a Widget tool.

    1. On Petit, you won’t miss any chance to timely find any trendy and popular NFT projects, ranging from wanting to obtain some NFT, investing in NFT, to participating in some NFT projects.

    2. Through Petit, you can apply every PFP NFT to various cell phone usage scenarios, including Widget, stickers, emoji, AR video, etc.
