Pixels has two distinct categories of players: landowners and non-landowners. We firmly believe that both user groups make a valuable contribution to fostering a robust and dynamic economy.

We have decided to allocate $COLLAB to each of these user groups in the following fashion:

--> Landowners:

50% of the allocated tokens will be distributed to Landowners. The amount received by each Landowner will be the same, irrespective of the number of lands owned. We chose this approach because we believe it is the best way to fairly reward users, regardless of financial means. And, as Collab.Land is used to verify land ownership, we see this as an added benefit to the owner.

--> All Players:

In coming weeks, we will launch a new initiative: Pixels VIP. We intend to distribute free passes to users who have been consistently active over the past several months. This group will be given Pixels VIP, along with the remaining 50% of the $COLLAB tokens. Once again, each player will receive an equal amount. By rewarding our most active users, this will incentivize them to stick around and grow with us!

With this structure, Landowners that are also active players will receive 2x the allotted amount. This structure ensures that active, committed users are being rewarded these tokens. By distributing to the largest possible group of real users available to us, we are benefiting both communities via rewards and increasing the visibility of Collab.Land. We expect to be distributing to around 6,000 wallets.

Regarding the timeline, the distribution of the $COLLAB token to users will take place shortly after the launch of Pixels VIP. Although an official date has not been released, we expect it to happen within the next month or so. In the meantime, the tokens will be held in the Pixels Gnosis Safe wallet.
