Proposal for Token Distribution (under 1000 words)
User Groups being targeted: Existing Verified Holders → Community members who owned an INU or NEKO NFT and verified ownership via the Collab.Land bot as of February 14, 2023 (Date of $COLLAB Announcement). Roles: INU Holder and NEKO Holder New Verified Members → Community members who verify their Genesis NFT holder role after February 14, 2023. This can include Genesis NFT holders that didn’t verify prior to that date or members that purchase a Genesis NFT at a future date. Distribution Mechanism & Timeline: 50% to be distributed to Existing Verified Holders, directly into their wallet. They are the reason we’ve reached the top 100 communities in the first place. We will directly distribute these tokens shortly after we receive them, and will allocate them amongst all Existing Verified Holders based on the number of Genesis Sipher NFTs in their linked wallets.
The distribution may happen in one of two ways: a. Claim page within our Ather Dashboard (link: https://dashboard.atherlabs.com/). Eligible members would navigate to this page and claim their respective $COLLAB allocation. This will bring exposure to the Collab.Land ecosystem even from Ather Dashboard users who did not meet the requirements. b. Distribute the $COLLAB tokens directly: Considered a backup alternative, given that the whole team is currently focused on releasing Sipher Odyssey the game, and might not have enough bandwidth to create the claim page.
25% to be distributed to New Verified Members in the future, either all at once or over time, via the same method as for Existing Verified Holders. We plan to involve the use of the Ather Club as an added mechanism for New Verified Members to qualify.
Ather Club is our platform’s Loyalty Program(link: https://dashboard.atherlabs.com/ather-club/featured), which consists of completing quests (tasks) to obtain XP (for leveling up) and Nanochips (a points system used to redeem exclusive rewards). In addition to requiring an individual to have a Collab.Land-verified role in our Discord, we may require these individuals to reach a certain level, or complete a certain number of quests in the Ather Club. We may also create one or more quests within the Ather Club that involve obtaining Collab.Land-verified Roles in our Discord server.
25% to Sipher Community Treasury. These tokens will remain in the Community Treasury once obtained. They will be used to directly participate in the Collab.Land governance, and a portion of them may also be used for: future distributions to Collab.Land-verified members, incentives for building apps in the Collab.Land marketplace, and/or for other initiatives that benefit the Sipher community.
How many users is this distribution projected to incentivize?
Existing Verified Holders: Approximately 7,000 Genesis Sipher NFT holders, from which about half have already verified via Collab.Land
New Verified Members: Given there are only 20,000 Genesis NFTs, the potential number of users under this category would be 13,000 as of now (Excluding existing verified holders).
How will this distribution incentivize the usage and adoption of Collab.Land?New Verified Members primarily fit within this category. We will plan and host certain programs or activities where these individuals have to verify their roles via Collab.Land in order to be eligible to receive a share of these tokens. As mentioned in our distribution mechanism for New Verified Members, we expect to integrate the Ather Club as well, whether by creating quests that require users to get a verified role via CollabLand or requiring them to reach a specific level or complete a certain number of quests.
What is the benefit of this distribution?To Collab.Land:
This distribution and any integrations of the Ather Dashboard and Ather Club will inherently help promote Collab Land to over 170k current Discord members. We also expect more members to join our ecosystem and Discord within the next few months as we are expecting to release the playtest and Soft Launch for our Sipher Odyssey videogame. We also expect to release a full launch of the game at some point this year, which shall also bring an additional influx of community members and ecosystem users.
The distribution mechanisms will incentivize New Members to verify via Collab.Land.
