Hey Gamers,
The AW Event in Istanbul is finally upon us! Will we see you there?
With the AW Event comes multiple tournaments, lots of irl talks, and plenty of networking events to attend. This week will likely see several announcements set to rock the focg industry, and I’m sure even more partnership will be formed in the convention center’s halls and meeting rooms.
But if you’re not attending the event, fret not. There are still plenty of focg developments happening to keep you from getting bored.
Keep Gaming,

Primodium allows users to create alliances and team up for bigger rewards and bigger prizes. WASD started their own alliance, and quickly found themselves with a target on their back. While the mystery of who destroyed their settlement lasted for a minutes, it wasn’t long before the culprit was found to be none other than a16z. Wasting little time, Ben from WASD declared war against a16z in a day that will live in infamy. Join Ben’s alliance to help take down the nefarious a16z!

This might be a bit of a self-plug, but you’ll have to bear with us. Last week, we hosted our first X Space in partnership with WASD, Onchain Radio. With special guest, @neilsonks from Gaul, we explored some of the week’s trending news as well as dive into what Gaul has planned for the future and what they’ve learned from the past. Join us every other Tuesday at 7:30 pm PST.
Shortly after the Space, @Neilsonks took to Mirror to voice his thoughts on Autonomous Worlds and where the industry is heading. I like to think his thoughts were sparked from our conversation, but we’ll never know. Take a minute to read his essay and see if you agree or disagree with his ideas of the future.

Fully onchain games aren’t all about essays, hefty articles, or X Spaces. Interviews and long form discussions are a large part of what allows thought leaders and captain of industry look ahead of trends and what will be important down the road. This week, the developers of Stratagems, a new focg on the scene, were joined by WORLDS to discuss the complications of fully onchain games. While the discussion might be above the heads of anyone not currently building a fully onchain game, it’s a nice chat about the intricacies of game development in a blockchain setting.
