Hey Gamers,
Welcome to the first edition of Composable Lab’s onchain gaming newsletter. We’re pleased to bring you the biggest, most influential events of the past week.
Coming off the Korean Blockchain Week and Token 2049, a large chunk of the onchain gaming community has been busy networking and attending irl events for the past few weeks. But not everyone is sipping cocktails and getting free merch; plenty of devs are traveling around the world to compete in Hackathons and Game Jams, aiming to prove their ideas and skills are above the competition.
This week might be a bit sparse on actionable news thanks to so many irl events, but it wasn’t completely dead. Read on to figure out what you might’ve missed.
Keep gaming,
Composable Labs Team

This week, @cryptonerdcn translated the entire Dojo library into Chinese with some friends. It was only one of the new languages Dojo saw itself translated into this week, as now users can check out the library in both Korean and Japanese as well.
Check out their impressive work for yourself.

The Unreliable Narrator (@reliablenarr) took to X to share his thoughts about his time at Token 2049 in Singapore and Korean Blockchain Week in Seoul. His experience echoes what many other attendees of the event shared online as well--the feeling was one of hope and optimism for the future. A much larger turn out for fully onchain games accompanied almost every talk and panel, and that’s a great sign for the industry.
Read his quick bullet point summary and see what you think of the latest irl events.

Offchain Labs, the Princeton-founded blockchain initiative, sat down the Amitt Mahajan (@amittm) recently and spent over an hour picking his brain about all things gaming. Starting off with his time at Zynga and creating the notorious Farmville, Amitt walks through his philosophy when it comes to the future of gaming and gives warm advice to would-be entrepreneurs.
He spends plenty of time chatting about AR, VR, AI, and what to expect for the next few years. With experience in blockchain and gaming, Amitt’s ideas and viewpoints are nothing less than enlightening.
