This thread is quite raw, as @PlayAscenders has only shared a small part. However, I cannot remain silent on the eve of such an important event as the minting of lands.
I won't say much about the great graphics or solid visuals, and I won't evaluate the idea, but @jackson, why do all NPCs look the same?


Just sharing the most interesting points for me.
This is mostly based on my personal opinion, but maybe I'll get into something ;)
Land sale: Date: May 18. Supply: 6,500
Price: 100$ (eth non wl), 70$ (eth wl) Network: Arbitrum We will be buying lootboxes containing lands, the reveal will happen around the end of May~.
What we have at the moment: 6,500 Lands (5 rarities + 2 cities) Building Plots Building Plot sizes (4 sizes) Workers (5 levels) Resources (15 types & 4 rarities) Structures (TBA)
Cities & Lands: At the start, we will have 2 cities, Olympus & Alexandria. In the future, if needed, new cities will be added and the map will be expanded. Land rarity depends on several factors, such as the number of building plots and building plot size.

Resources & Workers & Warriors(?):
There are 15 types and 4 rarities of resources. Every resource is very important to us! It's important to remember that Olympus & Alexandria each hold unique resources, and each Land has its own unique selection of resources.
As there will be recycling of resources that will be required to use them in building/crafting, probably the speed of building, crafting & recycling will depend on the number of structures and level of your workers. Workers will have 5 levels. Higher levels mean more income. Levels will be graded by resources and tokens, but which one? Haha.

The Exchange Center & City Merchants:
We will also be able to trade resources. I think that the Exchange will be a kind of NPC bank where we can exchange N:N (4:1). Merchants will allow player-to-player trading.
Structures & Building Plots: Each building plot has its own size (S, M, L, XL). Each structure will require certain resources and building plot size to build. So size matters, as there may not be enough space on your land to build a structure & you will need to buy another land for building, so be careful. Currently, we only know about 3 structures: Extractor - mining, Refinery - refinery, and Fabricator - weapon & item crafting.
Good news! We will probably see PvP/PvPvE modes, and there are several reasons for this, such as "Secure your plot" and weapon crafting.

** What's important to us:**
Absolutely everything! Every detail will matter when building and generating income. Mistake = lose
P.s. Maybe casuals will be spared and given the opportunity to break down a building and build a new one.
What will I be paying attention to?
Land size, building plots, plots sizes, city, selection of resources. It's easier to say for everything possible & own 2 legendary lands (from 2 different cities) = must-have.
I plan on buying as much land as possible (around 100~ lands) until the release of the main game (2024 q2/q3). I also plan to actively buy out lands before the release of Ascenders: simulation, since I see great opportunities in this. I will share all the calculations and possible strategies when it becomes possible.
Since I’m smart, I’ll try to get lands only with rare+ resources and buy cheap ones from other players or I will sit and buy overpriced low rarity resources because no one wants to trade with me. Just like in my favorite game “Colonist".

More lands = more benefits, and not just because I described above. Hinthint! Hi judas ;)
