• What is shardeum ?

Shardeum is a blockchain platform that leverages the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and implements dynamic state sharding for linear scalability. With the addition of each validator to the network, the Shardeum system is able to increase its transaction processing capacity, ensuring low fees for users in the long term. Unlike other state-sharded blockchain platforms, Shardeum boasts a unique architecture that retains atomic composability across all shards. This combination of high performance and decentralized structure make Shardeum the most scalable and efficient Ethereum-based Layer 1 platform available.

sudo curl -L "https://github.com/docker/compose/releases/download/1.29.2/docker-compose-$(uname -s)-$(uname -m)" -o /usr/local/bin/docker-compose

you completely install environment <3

install validator node

curl -O https://gitlab.com/shardeum/validator/dashboard/-/raw/main/installer.sh && chmod +x installer.sh && ./installer.sh

enter y for web based Dashboard and set password to access it

hit enter for others <3

Go to the hidden Shardeum directory:

cd .shardeum

./shell.sh

Start your node :

operator-cli gui start

open in web browser https://localhost:8080/

if you are using VPS replace localhost with your ip address like https://1.8885.33:8080/

enter password that you entered while creating dashboard

Start validator

Go to the “Maintenance” page, then click the “Start Node” button in the top left white box:

⏤Connect your wallet to Betnet (Sphinx 1.X)

Stake SHM to validator to start earning reward

⎘ “If your node status is on Standby and you have 10 SHM or more staked, your validator node is setup correctly.

The network will automatically add your validator to be active in the network.”
