Exothium world is a fully open-source decentralized game built on Starknet. It is the first game founded by the Exothium community.
What is Exothium ?
Exothium is the foundation of an open source community to create, collaborate and have fun around video games. They value transparency, knowledge sharing, creativity, simplicity, friendship and having fun together.

Exothium world is much more than a game. It is a game built by the community for the community.
Presentation of Exothium World !
Players will start in this new mysterious world without any knowledge and without any objects. The map of this game is completely unknown at the beginning. Each player chooses one of the four races (Apes, Cats, Dogs, Punks) to participate and in the early stages of the game there will be a fight for survival and exploration of the map.
As the map is revealed, the story of current and future players begins to take shape, meaning that the actions and decisions of players will have a direct impact on the story of the game. Over time, new technologies will become available that will make it easy to endure the hardships of the land and life. Four "ages" are planned, starting with the EXPLORATION AGE, and the game will evolve in real time to the METALLIC AGE, then the DARK AGE, and finally the MEDIUM AGE.
In the early eras, the game will focus on exploration, gathering, survival and cooperation, with each player encouraged to walk in groups to increase their chances of survival.
At the beginning, every step you take in the map is a step into the unknown. With a bag, it is possible to collect items to make weapons or buildings, for example. These buildings will provide shelter from the weather and give a group of explorers the strength they need for the next few days.
Explorers may encounter animals, mountains, plains, caves, grasses, etc. It will be necessary for some players to focus solely on professions such as hunting, gathering, and farming to help the community grow and continue exploring the map.
Weather will also be crucial in planting crops and deciding on the next steps in exploration. Each day, players will have to make wise choices to increase their chances of finding what they want.
Each character will have a fixed lifespan and there will be mechanisms to spawn and generate new characters, allowing players to expand their legacy, increase the game's population and allow other participants to play the game by selling or offering these new characters.
This is the beginning of a new metaverse that is entirely generated by real people, built by real people and planned by real people.
It's no longer about paying to win or playing to win, the goal is for players to have fun and seek real connections with other like-minded people who want to be part of a game that allows for endless exploration, with elements of survival as d&d mixed in with a sandbox mmorpg.
The game's story will be minimal at the beginning and the vast majority of the story will be built up as the game progresses, allowing players to become part of the story.
