The Big Lie shot down in Joe'gia

Conservative Georgia Secretary of State refutes The Big Lie, with class.

Artist John Hart, creator of the “Welcome to Joe’gia” doodle gone viral he did for Joe Biden’s defeat of Trump in Georgia, is making a series of NFTs to be sold as fundraising for a big idea he has. His big idea is to have an immutable repository of documents related to the Big Lie. It will also be a museum of anti-fascist art pieces.

First up in that series is The Big Lie shot down. It combines Hart’s infamous illustration with a letter penned by Brad Raffensberger to Congress, Vice President Pence, plus Speaker of the House, Pelosi. The letter very clearly and succinctly explains the truth about the GA vote count in contrast to the absurdity of what Trump, Giuliani, Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley and too many other Qonservatives were trying to do, which we know now was nothing less than an attempted coup to keep Trump in power.

It’s been well over a year and a half since that disgusting day. Incomprehensibly, Donald Trump still, STILL has such a stranglehold on the Republican party that they have resorted to fascism, plain and simple, as their political strategy going forward. Make it harder for people to vote, file absurd lawsuits just to establish a narrative on FOX and other rogue-wing media outlets.

Think about that! The supposedly #1 cable news outlet (in terms of viewership) is promoting a blatantly false story on a daily, hourly basis that has our democracy literally in peril. An American news outlet is destroying the United States. A domestic enemy more powerful than any global leader is lying to the American public.

Rupert Murdoch is the most dangerous threat in the world to our democracy. Day after day and night after night, the “news” outlet scares the living shit out of white evangelical America with propaganda that “their country” is being stolen.

This image went viral for a minute just after Biden took the lead in Georgia's vote count. It originally appeared in a Facebook group the artist had set up to help get out the vote in Georgia to defeat Trump.
"The Big Lie shot down," by artist John Hart, combines his "Welcome to Joe'gia" illustration with the indisputable refutation of Trump's big lie penned by Republican secretary of state Brad Raffensberger. Proceeds go to funding his vision of a permanent gallery in Web3, a repository of documented evidence that Trump lost Georgia in 2020.

Brad Raffensberger, Secretary of State in Georgia, loves Democracy more than power. As we all know, the Big Lie was championed by FOX News and all right wingnut media to the point that an angry mob nearly hijacked our Democracy on Jan. 6th, 2021. John Hart feels the need to fight The Big Lie with an artistic approach to preserving the evidence. The proceeds will go towards funding his vision of creating a repository of evidence (court documents, video, audio, etc.) preserving the fact that Joe Biden’s 2020 Presidential Election victory is beyond dispute and furthermore that what Donald Trump and co. are trying to do is not only shocking and unthinkable but also an impending danger to democracy in the United States.

Welcome to Joe’gia genesis collection

Hart’s idea for preserving the facts about the 2020 election begins with a simple website where the documents will be on display. An NFT collection of court documents as art pieces will be auctioned to raise funds which will give life to the vision. Other directions the site will take might include providing a community for other artists to contribute pieces related to this mess Donald Trump has created. Welcome to Joe’gia might even become a collective of antifascist organizers coming together to spread the stories of Democrats across the country as more and more they have to counter the insane lies of belligerent Qanon Qonservatives in future elections.

When the ball is rolling, Welcome to Joe’gia will have a 2nd birth in the metaverse, Web3. For the sake of posterity, a Welcome to Joe’gia virtual art museum dedicated to this mission will be on the blockchain, immutable and safe from the right wing’s attempts to erase another piece of their shameful history.
