What is 5irechain? 5irechain is a fifth-generation blockchain that will bring a shift in paradigm from a for-profit to a for-benefit by embedding sustainability and social impact deep inside the 5irechain runtime logic, and ensure that the activities which are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals either on-chain or in the real world are highly incentivized with the cutting-edge multilayered Proof-Of-Fire consensus mechanism and reward distribution engine. All of this while assuring democracy between all the participants and governance for the purpose of bringing union and to ensure the longevity of the 5irechain sustainable vision.
The startup will revolve around the concepts of transparency, immutability, and verifiability in blockchain transactions, so the donors can feel secure and confident and add more and more value for the service of humanity.
The goal of 5ireChain is to embed the for-benefit paradigm deeply inside the blockchain runtime logic thus ensuring that sustainability is how the agreed-upon consensus mechanism operates. Only by having this change at the core of the blockchain, we can ensure that the upper logic and activity follow.
Blockchains are extremely useful in a variety of sectors. 5ireChain acts as a bridge to facilitate the world’s shift from the 4th industrial revolution, focusing on AI and technological advances, to the 5th industrial revolution, focusing on human-centered design and sustainable development. This worldview is profit-driven and does not imply a sustainable futurist vision.
5ireChain provides the following use cases:
E-Government
Defi 5.0 User-Centric Decentralized Finance (DeFi)
United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) As Indexes
The Future of Naming Services
Metaverse
5ireChain has use cases in verticals as varied as e-governance, DeFi, Self Sovereign identity, and even the enhanced reality of a Metaverse, and promises to usher in a paradigm shift away from a profit-driven economy and toward a benefit-driven one. 5ireChain is also a blockchain that is centered on sustainability that utilizes reputation-based methods to improve security. 5ire’s blockchain ecosystem advances sustainability, technology, and innovation, laying the groundwork for the fifth industrial revolution.
The mission of the 5ire ecosystem is to embed the for-benefit paradigm at the heart of the blockchain, highly incentivize practices that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), facilitate the transition from the 4IR to 5IR, and accelerate the implementation of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The company’s primary offering is 5ireChain, a first layer, sustainability-driven 5th generation blockchain that ensures adherence to the philosophy of 5IR, creating a net positive impact on the planet and serving humanity.
Being a “for-benefit” ecosystem meant for serving humanity, it is critical that the governance mechanism and all portions of the governance system are both democratic and transparent.
5ire Data Storage is a decentralized, distributed, data storage solution that relies on the Interplanetary File System (IPFS) to store files securely. Security is built into the storage process, with user-end encryption creating discrete 5MB “flickers” using Threefish block ciphers.
On 5ireChain, data is always encrypted on the user side, which enhances security as no naked data is traveling across the network or is held on 5ireChain.
The process contains the following steps, all performed on the user side:
Initially the data is split into 50MB chunks.
These chunks are then repeatedly replicated to create redundancy.
The 50MB chunks are further split into ten 5MB flickers to prepare the data for encryption and upload.
Each 5MB flicker is put through a 1024-bit Threefish encryption algorithm. These encrypted figures are then uploaded to the 5ire IPFS server.
5ire is delighted to announce that its blockchain network is coming live in testnet mode.

Reliability Score(Testnet Feature )
The reliability of any blockchain is the ability of its network to effectively record a digital asset’s creation and transfer following the intended purpose. In 5ire’s Unique Consensus, the Reliability score measures a validator’s trustworthiness level.
These reliability scores depend on several factors, such as:
Age: The node’s age or the time the node has been online for the last eight days. We can determine this by considering the number of blocks the node has successfully created during the allotted time and the number of blocks attested (signed).
Stake: This will determine how long a node has held the stakes before. For example, if Node 1 has been online all the time during the last 8 Epochs and has an equal or more significant amount of stakes than the other nodes, then Node 1 would receive a higher reliability score.
Block Assembly: Successfully assembling blocks will increase the likelihood of becoming an assembler for that same block again. If one fails to assemble a block in the required time frame, there will be a decrease in the reliability score and stake.
