I remember when i was much younger, my mum would bath me, my dad would walk me to school in the mornings and pick me up at noon. I cried when i was hungry and food would be served on a platter, I mean, life felt really good.
Fast forward to today, that same life has become a shadow of itself. Now i got to hustle for my daily bread, worse still, i gotta hustle for my family’s survival. Now i understand why my dad used to sit outside in the dark, sipping palwine, when i was young. The old man probably had all our burdens on his shoulders, his heart racing, imagining how he would live through life if he failed his family.
