Zeta chain is a first-level blockchain that is able to interact with other blockchains, including those that do not support smart contracts, such as Bitcoin, Dogecoin.

Thanks to the technologies of this project, users will be able to exchange cryptocurrency — for example, you can exchange Btc for Eth without using bridges and a wrapped cryptocurrency. This reduces the risk of losing assets during the exchange and protects your funds.

At the moment, the project is at the testnet stage and offers to try its exchange technologies in the test network. Which is what I did. In order to exchange coins, first you need to go to the site zetalabs -https://labs.zetachain.com/swap

After that, you need to get test tokens in the “Get zeta” section:

Personally, I liked the interface of the site — everything is clear and well adapted to the user. Considering that at the moment the project is at its initial stage, I personally did not encounter problems when exchanging coins.

Everything happens very quickly, unlike some bridges, where you can wait more than 15 minutes for an exchange.
