This is a quick update. I logged into my Mirror site to give a quick podcast update and saw that my entire site had been ported over to paragraph. A platform I used since it launched but gave up on earlier this year because of the endless bugs and lack of user support.
I'm exporting all of my subs from here and ported them into my new ghost site Signals & Seeds. I totally own that site and pay monthly for a platform that is tight, well engineered and has ample support.
My mirror site was my decentralized publishing happy place. I earned my writers token from a stellar piece of content that crossed the Mirror team's radar and was awarded the coveted writers token that allowed me to set up a subdomain. I loved publishing there-- it was simple and decentralized.
And then paragraph acquired Mirror. And tanked it. Then forced me into their platform. I find that unacceptable, so I'm restoring my agency and taking my shit off of these platforms doing shit like this in the dark.
