It’s been a while since new technology scared the shit out of me. Dall•E 2 out of OpenAI is an artificial intelligence system that creates art from natural language.

At first, I thought that this would have a disastrous impact on human-made art.

But then, the optimist in me realized that AI will kill creativity in roughly the same way the iPhone did. Hint, hint… the iPhone did not kill creativity. It simply changed it.
