Catching Up with Paras #25

What a fine day to start the week! How is it going, everyone? I am having so much fun watching the Olympics. Today, our women’s doubles badminton brings home the first gold medal from this Olympics. This event marks a historical hour since it is the first gold medal from our women’s doubles badminton. Congratulations to Greysia and Apriyani! To all the Olympians: "Fighting!!"

Have you seen our survey? If you are as interested in comics as we do, please help us filling the survey regarding comic reading interest for crypto users. We are providing prizes for the lucky participants.

Let’s get back to our weekly recap. We record $2619 as our weekly volume. Our artists mint 257 new cards while our users conduct 410 transactions this week. We record an increase in our weekly volume thanks to our community. This month, we are planning to start bringing new verticals to our platform. Make sure that you don’t miss the news by following us through our social media.

Today, let’s check out 5 collections in Paras. We are looking at different art styles. This week, we also see a project update and also new project from our artists. We are feverish over these great arts and we would like to share this with all of you.

Without further ado, let’s start!

Ancient Odyssey

The journey in this collection keeps getting more interesting. The “Ancient Odyssey” gets more updates from the one and only Connoisseur_dane. This time he introduces the Frozen Giants called “Grathon”, the native of the Irost region. Not only that, the collection adds characters like “The Blood Witch of The East” called Emma Mordale and the “Demon King of Devonon”, an unstoppable entity. As usual, these cards are designed to perfection. I’m still imagining what these cards could be in the future. Let’s traverse the land of Zoi together and embark on this great odyssey!

F(r)iendz

“I’m a friend of the devil”

Well, you can claim that statement if you get your hands to the new collection from Nearbits called the “F(r)iendz”. The “F(r)iendz” are the fiendish friends from folklore to pop culture from all over the world. As usual, these cards are limited edition; there’s only 1 card available for each character. Can you guess all the characters that inspired the “F(r)iendz”?

Collect them and get a friend out of these fiends.

The Full Armor of God

A legendary being in Pangea has once had these artifacts but lost in time due to events that lead him to his own demise.

Herogranada brings the good news for every collector. You have the chance to retrieve and wear the armor of God if you are worthy enough. Although, if getting divination is not your cup of tea, you can keep it as your collection. You can collect all six artifacts available to summon a legendary being that will wear the “Full Armor of God” on the 13th of August 2021. Suit up and gear up! You could be the one worthy of these artifacts.

INK

Do you prefer simple strokes of pen on your canvas? Igon is here for you. Igon is an aspiring artist from the Philippines. He is a new addition to the platform and he loves to draw with pens only. Inside each draw, Igon includes some context behind his artwork. His cards look random yet they are filled with various stories and meanings. You can grab one of these sketches on our platform right now.

Ink the day with the “INK” collection!

Death Cards

Death is a complex theme, especially when we are talking about art. Our perceptions regarding the topic are widely different from one another. The question is, how do you express the topic? Mimagrama releases the “Death Cards” collection in Paras. The collection is based on tarot cards. According to the artist:

I always love to create dark art and scary art. Because the illustration can show emotions, a message also sometimes I can relate to what I draw.

There are four cards available for purchase: Nightmare, Omen, Keeper, and Grim Reaper. More characters will come to the platform, so get your hands on these characters as soon as possible!

What do you think? If you manage to grab them, don’t forget to mention them to the artist. We also would like to remind you that you can submit your cards into your preferred category from now on. There will be more artists to look out for. Cheers!
