Guilin's terrain is high in the north and low in the south, with an altitude of 140 to 600 meters. It is a limestone karst area. I first learned about it from the article "Guilin Landscapes" in my childhood textbook. I still vaguely remember the description in the book - "Guilin's landscape is the best in the world", "it feels like walking into a continuous picture scroll", "such mountains surround such water, and such water reflects such mountains". Now, when I visit Guilin in person, Guilin has proven all this to me with its beautiful scenery, and what is described in the book is not exaggerated.
