I’ve been thinking about doing some long-form writing over the last few months, and now I guess I’m finally getting around to trying it. Part of the reason why I’ve wanted to try it out is because I think putting my thoughts into words could be a good exercise to help me form more well-rounded ideas/opinions, and also writing just generally feels like a healthy outlet to express my thoughts.

I’m doing this primarily out of my own self-interest, but it’s possible that I’ll share this out for anyone interested. As a reader, you can probably expect any subsequent entry to be fairly unstructured, and you’re also more than welcome to comment on anything I put out here and share your perspective. I don’t have any concrete intentions with the direction of this page, but I’ll probably just share my take on random events and provide periodic updates from my personal life (ranging from extremely trivial to somewhat significant).

From the beginning I decided that I’d keep this first entry brief (the first thing I wrote was the title), and I intend to abide by that. So I guess this is it - thanks for stopping by if you’re reading this and you’ve made it this far, and feel free to follow along if I put out anything else after this initial entry.
