DacDAO：你好，memoire_！能不能让我们更多了解你和你的经历，是什么让你的艺术成为我们今天看到的样子？你现在作品探索的主题是什么？
memoire_：你好！我今年27岁，住在乌克兰敖德萨。我有纹身从业背景（我在2012年到2020年做纹身师，但因身心问题辞职）。从2013年开始，我在我的艺术中探索诸如爱情和心碎的内容，最近我开始探索诸如精神疾病、记忆障碍和社会不公之类的内容。
DacDAO：我在你的instagram上注意到，你最近的作品使用浅粉色背景。浅粉色有什么特殊含义吗？还是只是因为这个颜色和我们的皮肤很像？我知道你以前是做纹身艺术的。
memoire_：我用作背景的颜色是我最喜欢的颜色，它能让我平静下来，我还发现这个颜色是黑色图样很好的背景。这与肤色无关，因为不同国家的纹身者会有不同的肤色。
DacDAO：关于NFT的问题。我看到你在Tezos和Ethereum上出售你的作品。我很好奇，你进入NFT或Web3的契机是什么？
memoire_：我过去试图找到一种方式来表达我的数字艺术，而我认识的不少人告诉我NFT是个不错的选择。我个人在2022年2月之前对NFT的世界一无所知。 我开始这么做主要是为了与人分享我的作品，也是为了好玩。 但在我的NFT之旅几个星期后，战争开始了，所以我开始把NFT看作一个很好的慈善工具，帮助我为我的国家筹集善款，而我的国家现在正处于巨大的危险中。
DacDAO：你是如何创作你的NFT的？使用什么软件或工具？是否有一个团队或其他人来帮你处理这些事，包括在社交媒体上的营销和推广？
memoire_：我几乎一个人做所有的事，除非是跟别人合作的项目。我只有一个iPhone 7，老iPad和非常非常老的笔记本电脑。我在iPad上用Procreate画画。至于摄影，我用35 mm 的过期胶片和可能你们能入手的最便宜的扫描仪。现在我不会拍很多照片，因为现在是战争时期，不建议随便走动和进行摄影活动。
DacDAO：NFT帮你赚到更多钱了吗？你对NFT和艺术家之间的关系有什么看法？你有什么新的NFT计划吗？
memoire_：我想说，到目前为止，NFT帮我赚到一些钱。但说实话，我并没有真正通过它赚多少，最多1000美元左右，而这些钱都捐给了我国的志愿者。 我认为NFT世界对艺术家来说是一个挑战，因为即使你做的是好东西，有时也不容易卖掉你的艺术。看到很多有问题的作品卖到上百万美元，自己的作品却卖不到几美元，这可能会打击很多人的积极性。 如果这是你的情况，我建议不要放弃，坚持自己的道路，如果你忠于自己的创作，作品终会大卖。
我有很多与不同艺术家合作、探索新内容的计划。多年来，我一直被困在我在做的事情的条框里，不想走出我的艺术舒适区。现在我觉得是时候去学一些新玩意了。
DacDAO：你现在情况如何？我是指你的身心状况以及乌克兰的战争。你想对那些试图帮助你的人说什么？
memoire_：在这两个月的毁灭性战争中，我一直保持相对还好的状态，但我有一些危难时刻。几天前，我所在的城市遭到轰炸，8人死亡，包括3个月大的婴儿。我听见火箭弹在我头上飞过，应该说这是一件很可怕的事。所以我现在呆在一个不太安全的地方（现在乌克兰没有安全的地方），我的精神和身体健康状况都不是很好，但我现在更关注的是，我能为那些比我更需要帮助的人提供帮助。
我恳请大家对乌克兰的战争保持警惕，做好自己的研究，并努力看清它的全貌。这是一场为生存，而不是为领土而战的战争，我的同胞现在每天都因俄罗斯的帝国主义野心而死去，我将继续为自由而战!
DacDAO: Hi memoire_! Could you please let us know more about you and your experience? What is it that leads your art to the way we see today? And what are the themes you are exploring by your works now?
memoire_: Hello! I’m 27 years old and I live in Odesa, Ukraine. I have a tattoo background (I used to work as a tattooer from 2012 to 2020, but had to quit my job because of mental and physical health problems). Since 2013 I started to explore things such as love and heartbreak in my art, and lately I started to explore things such as mental illnesses, memory problems and social injustice.
DacDAO: I noticed on your instagram that your recent work uses a light pink background. Does the light pink color have any special meaning? Or is it just because the color resembles our skin? I know you used to do tattoo art.
memoire_: The color I use as a background is my favorite color and in calms me down, also I find it to be a good background for a black drawings. It has nothing to do with a skin color as a tattooed people from different countries with a different skin color.
DacDAO: Questions about NFT. I see you are selling your works on Tezos and Ethereum. I'm curious about what was the opportunity for you to get into NFT or Web3？
memoire_: I tried to figure the way to say my digital art and a lot of people I know told me that NFT is a good way to go. Personally I didn’t know anything about NFT world before 02.2022. I started to do it mostly to share my works with people and did it for fun, but after a few weeks of my NFT journey the war has started so I started to look an NFT’s as a good charity tool to help me to raise money for my country, which is in a great danger right now.
DacDAO: How do you create your NFTs？What software and tools do you use? And is there a team or just someone else to help you with these issues, including marketing and promotion on social media？
memoire_: I do everything pretty much alone, excluding the cases where i collaborate with somebody. All I have is an iphone7, old iPad and really really old laptop. I use Procreate to do my drawings on iPad. For photography I used 35mm expired film and probably the cheapest scanner you can get. Now I don’t make a lot of photos as it’s a war time now and it’s not recommended to just walk around and photograph things.
DacDAO: Did NFT help you earn more?What do you think about the relationship between NFT and artists？And do you have any new NFT plans?
memoire_: I would say NFT’s so far helped me to earn a bit but to be honest I didn’t really get much money with it, around 1000$ max, and all this money were donated to volunteers in my country. I think NFT world can be challenging for an artist cause it’s sometimes not easy to sell your art even if you’re doing a good stuff. It can be demotivating to people seeing a lot of questionable art selling for millions of dollars and their art not selling for a couple of dollars. If it’s your case I’d recommend not to give up and just keep doing what you do, sales will come eventually if you’re loyal to what you’re doing.
I have a lot of plans to collaborate with different artists and explore something new. For years I was stuck in a box of what I’m doing and didn’t want to get out of my comfort art zone. Now I feel is the time to learn some thorn new.
DacDAO: How is your situation now? I mean your physical and mental condition and the war in Ukraine.What do you want to say to those who are trying to help you?
memoire_: I’ve been holding relatively well during this 2 devastating months of war, but sometimes I have crisis moments. A few days ago my city got bombed and 8 people died, including 3 months old baby. I heard the rockets flying above me and it’s a scary thing I should say. So I’m staying in a not really safe space (there are no safe spaces in Ukraine right now) and my mental and physical health are not doing great, but my focus now is more on a help I could get to people who need it more than me.
I would kindly ask everyone to stay mindful about the war in Ukraine, do your own researches and try to see a big picture of it. It’s a war for existence for us, not for a territory, my people are now dying every day because of Russia’s imperialistic ambitions and I’ll keep fighting for a freedom!
