This year, Huli District will

Build and transform 17 pocket parks

In recent years, in combination with the construction of “one tree and one garden” of ancient and famous trees, Huli District has established 70 dynamic project libraries of “pocket park”, and promoted the construction according to the purpose of “one mature batch, one construction batch and one put into use”.

At present, 38 pocket parks have been built in Huli District, and 17 pocket parks are planned to be built in 2022.

After completion, these “pocket parks” will further improve the quality of the city, provide nearby residents with places for leisure activities, meet the diversified needs of residents such as parents and children, communication, rest and play, and let people “see the green through the window and go out into the park”.

Next, Huli District will continue to sort out the corner plots within its jurisdiction. According to the needs of surrounding residents, for plots suitable for greening and adding facilities, enrich and improve the dynamic construction library of “pocket parks”, and use small and sophisticated “pocket parks” to supplement the problem of insufficient service radius of large urban public parks.
